On Thursday the 17th of February 2011 me and my partner finished our two minute intro film. In my own opinion I am very pleased with the outcome. I personally believe me and my partner tried very hard and put the most amount of effort we could have put into it.
If we were able to do the project again then I would have spent a lot more time planning the storyline and being as close to detail as I could have such as choosing the music before hand.
From our preliminary task I can see a huge improvement from mis en scene such as lighting in our preliminary was too dark and some shots were hard to see to overcome this problem in our project we editing the shots so that everything was visible.
Overall I am very pleased with the outcome of our film and that it was to the highest of standards me and my partner could achieve however there we a couple mistakes to our film that could have been improved if we were to do it again

Editing Finished
Me and my partner have finished editing our two minute intro film. Although it took us longer than we anticipated we finished our filming and managed to hand it on time.
The editing for our film took around three weeks we spent around ten hours editing and updating our blog at the same time. Some time had to be spent outside of lesson working on our film as we didn't finish editing in lesson time.
A main reason why our editing took so long was because of music to use for our intro this took around three lessons (three hours) to find a track that fit in with our genre and was not copyrighted. this proved a very hard challenge to use. However, we found a suitable soundtrack to use and after we had found it all we needed to do was sync the music with out film.
Overall i am very pleased with the editing as it has solved a lot of our problems such as, some of our shots were far to dark and little could be seen therefore with colour correction we were able to change the brightness levels and make our shots be more revealing.
Permission for Soundtrack
For this music that we used we needed to make sure that we had permission to use it, so me and my partner emailed the owner and asked if we could used the music for noncommercial purposes and educational purposes only.
We asked:
Would it be possible for me to use this song for non commercial use and for educational purposes only?
Soundtrack
Me and my partner have finally found a soundtrack for us to use for our two minute intro film. We selected his piece of music because we felt it fit in with our intro the most and reflected the main characters feelings and the position he was in.
This is the piece of music that we have selected to use

Questionnaire Analysis
After looking at my questionnaire reults i can get a clear idea of what i should include in my film. From my questionnaire results i could see that a wide range of people liked thrillers because of the suspence asnd excitment that they have in them therefore me and my partner decided to have as little actors that we could have to concentrate all focus on this one character. We then decided to put him into a situation where the audience doesn't know whats going to happen this way out film will be more appleaing and thrilling.

Filming finished
Me and my partner have finished all of our filming on the 8th of February 2011 we filmed our film three times in two different locations.
The first time we filmed was very productive and we got a lot of our film done we managed to film the first scene which took up about 50 seconds of our two minute intro film. After looking through the clips we took we were very pleased however there was one shot where we can hear a lot of wind. This was very annoying as we was not able to dim the wind out by editing as there was talking over it.
The second time filming was not as productive as the first as we changed our story a little and had to improvise some of it. The second time filming was ontop of waitrose carpark. The first few shots we were very pleased with and used them in our film. However, after a while we began to notice our camera battery was incredibly low so we tryed to film the rest of out intro quickly. This did not end well and most of the shots that we took were discarded and not used in our film.
The final time filming only me and my partner went and we managed to shoot the rest of our film in under and hour. We retook a couple of shoots that we were not pleased with last time so that we could improve it. After we had improved out shots, we then began to film the rest of our film. As it was only me and my partner we were able to be very productive and take it seriusly. I believe that this was our best time filming as we got a lot of work done and even improved some of the old shots that we used.

Problems with music
The biggest problem i believe that we have faced so far would be choosing the right type of music to use in our intro film, me and my partner choose to have music at the start of our film and then dim it out after a specific amount of time. However, this proved to be a big problem as we coulnd't find any music to put into our film that was copyright free, we spent many hours searching different websites to try and find music which we were able to use in our film, we did find a piece that fit perectly into our film but it was copyright and we were unable to use it.
